Château le Puy - Emilien | French Red Wine

Château Le Puy has enjoyed international recognition since the release of the latest manga volume "Les Gouttes de Dieu" of which it is the enigma. Discover the Cuvée Emilien, today a wine from France (Côtes de Franc in previous vintages), a marvel of sweetness and delicacy.

From vines planted with 85% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec and 1% Carmenère, Emilien is a garnet-colored wine, with ruby ​​tendencies for young vintages, with orange reflections for older vintages, onion skin for very old ones. Its nose is fruity with aromas of very ripe red fruits, predominantly blackcurrant, gooseberries and also burnt almonds, sometimes mushrooms, undergrowth reveals a round, full, delicate mouth, velvety tannins with a long and pleasantly complex finish. This wine, of great finesse, can be drunk young, thanks to its velvety tannins, or wait several decades to taste the full depth of the terroir.
