The Chateau La Gomerie is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, made with purely Merlot grapes. This deep red wine was aged in 100% new French oak barrels. A lush, elegant wine, it has a sensual bouquet. On the palate, it’s soft and rounded, with flavor notes of black raspberry and plum, chocolate, and licorice.

Food Pairing

This St. Emilion Grand Cru is wonderful to pair with pork dishes, like grilled pork chops, or hearty red meats, like beef and lamb. It’s great with baked chicken or roast duck. It’s also very good with cured meats and cheeses.
