The wines of Chateau Imperial Tokaj wine family represent well balanced, elegant style of Tokaj Region. The main grape variety is Furmint. The vines are planted on the south part of Mount Tokaj where vinification dates back to 15th century. The vines and wines are treated with the greatest care, listening to nature's call. This approach allows to bring clear and honest wines to the table.

| TASTING NOTES | Medium straw yellow color, this little blend had aromas of flowers, honey, and apples. The palate, with an unctuous texture and good sweetness, delivers a nice long finish. Thanks to the reductive aging process and to the batonage, this wine is very rich in fruits both in nose and on palate. Smooth body along with refreshing acidity which helps to have a wine where sweetness is not overwhelming. |
| FOOD PAIRING | Although the wine is a late harvested sweet wine it is not necessarily just a dessert wine. It is worth trying with vanilla cream and fruit desserts but also with poultry which has some sweet tropical fruit-sauce on top of it. Also perfect to drink on its own, though it is also delicious with foie gras, spicy oriental foods, and medium-strong cheeses. |
