The Côtes de Blaye wine region lies on the right bank of the Gironde estuary, facing across the water to Margaux and Pauillac. It has a long history of viticulture extending back 2000 years to the Ancient Romans.
The Château Gressina Bordeaux Cuvee Pierre Blanche is a delicious Merlot-based wine that will work fantastically well with any lean cut of meat or even a nice juicy burger. For those of you out there who still think they don’t like Merlot, maybe you have not tried Bordeaux lately? A good glass of Bordeaux is exceedingly pleasant and there is absolutely nothing to dislike about it, with warm berry aromas, notes of chocolate and in the case of this wine, little to no oak.
