A brilliant Bordeaux filled with all its classic qualities, the Chateau Roc de Candale Saint-Emilion Grand Cru has light spicy aromas, and fresh flavors.

Tasting Notes

The Chateau Roc de Candale Saint-Emilion Grand Cru consists of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc grapes, harvested by both hand and machine from vines of 30 to 40 years, and aged for 12 months in barrel. It has a brilliant, almost purple hue, and an ABV of about 13.5%. It’s a classic Bordeaux, seductive on the nose, with light spicy notes. On the palate, it’s very pleasant, with notes of fresh ripe fruit.

Food Pairing

This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru from Chateau Roc de Candale is best paired with meat. try it with pulled pork sandwiches, a char-grilled flank steak, or Asian-style pork chops. For cheeses, it’s wonderful with Brie, Camembert, or Chabichou.
