Description

25 year old Caol Ila single malt, drawn from a single cask which aged the whisky from February 1990 to February 2015. After quarter of a century of maturation, the whisky was bottled for the Mackillop's Choice range with an outturn of 302 bottles.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Dried apple and mango, citrus blossom, burnt toast, mint and salt & pepper crisps.

TASTE:
Earthy barley, charcoal, vanilla bean, grass and old leather.

FINISH:
Smoky tea, allspice and cardamom.
