Description

It's the second edition of Bowmore 1988, originally released for the Travel Retail market. The special single malt was matured in first-fill bourbon casks for 29 long years, before it was bottled in 2018. A wonderfully mature and smoky dram.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Charred oak alongside prominent marzipan and toasted almonds, jammy berries and maritime notes.

TASTE:
Rock salted caramel, more savoury maritime elements intertwined with smoke, with stewed apple and freshly baked croissants.

FINISH:
Salted butter with tangy orange marmalade.
