Naia - Naia | Spanish White Wine

Naia is a white wine from the Rueda produced by Bodegas Naia. It is a varietal Verdejo. Naia is one of the most expressive wines from Rueda.

The winery has old vines and the grapes used for this wine comes from a selection of the best of these. The vines are planted in glass and some of these are pre-phylloxera. The harvest is done at night in early September. This is mostly manual and, once in the winery, the grapes pass through a selection table. The grapes are then fermented.

Naia is finally aged for four months on its lees. Bodegas Naia is located in the town of La Seca and has 40 hectares of land.

The project is led by winemaker Eulogio Calleja, who has spent over a decade working with Verdejo and producing great white wines.
