Description

The grapes are harvested by hand in crates then sorted one at a time on a double sorting table by two successive teams. Partially fermented in 400-litre French oak barrels with a rotation system. Post-fermentation maceration lasting a month. Malolactic fermentation and weekly yeast stirring. 40% of the juice is removed. 24 months of maturation in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Intense garnet red colour. Complex nose. Intense red fruit aromas, and coffee and chocolate notes from its time in oak barrels. Volume on the palate with ripe tannins. The red fruit and coffee aromas give way to a lingering finish. A very well balanced whole.
