Black Stallion - Bucephalus is the flagship wine of Black Stallion Estate, located in Napa Valley. Named after Alexander the Great’s legendary horse, Bucephalus is a bold, powerful, and luxurious blend that embodies the strength and finesse of the region’s finest grapes. This iconic wine is crafted from a carefully selected combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and other Bordeaux varietals. The blend is meticulously aged in French oak barrels to create a wine that is rich, complex, and expressive of Napa Valley’s distinctive terroir.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Bucephalus opens with intense and layered aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, and dark cherries, accented by notes of black licorice, leather, and violets. As the wine evolves, it reveals complex hints of dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, and baking spices, thanks to its oak aging.
