An intriguing interplay of aromas begins with the hallmark Ardbeg peat smoke, mingling with sweet notes of apricot, ripe peach, and candied citrus. Hints of vanilla, toasted oak, and a subtle herbal quality emerge, accented by the Sauternes cask’s honeyed influence.
TASTE:
A rich and multi-layered palate unfolds, with flavors of smoked toffee, lemon zest, and tropical fruits. Waves of salted caramel, black pepper, and clove spice are balanced by a luscious honeyed sweetness and a creamy, full-bodied texture.
FINISH:
Long and complex, with lingering smoke, hints of dried fruits, and a gentle oak spice that fades into a touch of maritime salinity.
