Arc du Rhône - La Maitrise du Terroir - Côtes du Rhône | French Red Wine

Carefully assembled by our winemaker, Julien Dugas, this wine is made from grapes grown on a terroir of clay and pebbles. There is a sweet spice of the finish, typical of the Grenache Noir and Syrah grapes from which it is made.

Julien is a real 'man on the ground', spending any available day out of the winery in the vines with his growers keeping in close contact with the fruit which, in his opinion (and ours), is key to making great wine.

A typically fruit-forward and beautifully formed Rhône blend of 80:20 Grenache and Syrah.
Perfumed aromatics of wild berries and subtle spice are supported up by a fresh palate, with a dense mouthfeel and a wonderfully long finish.
Grilled meats would work a treat alongside this red. Try with your herb roasted lamb for Sunday lunch.
