ARC Archipelago - Barrel Reserve Gin | Filipino Gin

To create a fine barrel-aged sipping gin, we begin with our flagship Archipelago Botanical Gin and rest it in brand new, 225-liter American Oak barrels, which have been given a medium long toast (Burgundy style).
The toasting of our barrels, by master coopers in Napa Valley, California, allows the oak to impart a rich medley of aromas while adding intense complexity to our spirit. Over the course of aging, our gin continues to pulls flavors from the oak barrel, which includes aromas of vanilla bean, caramel, dark chocolate, toasted almond, roasted nut, crème brûlée, hazelnut, and toasted marshmallow.
While it rests, our barrel reserve gin is tested and tasted each week by the distiller, until he believes we have arrived at the perfect balance of botanical flavors and the oaky wood, with the total flavor profile rounded and enhanced by its time in the barrel. Our premium extra neutral alcohol base from 100% wheat provides a subtle sweetness and round mouthfeel that illuminates the exotic blend of tropical Philippine botanicals. Rich vanilla and butterscotch from the American oak barrels can be found in both the nose and the finish, making a perfect libation for sipping neat or to elevate and add a complex flavor twist to your favorite gin cocktail.
