Description

From villages located in the northern and southern parts of the Côte de Nuits. The grapes mainly come from vineyards located around the villages of Brochon (the village adjacent to Gevrey-Chambertin) and Corgoloin-Comblanchien (next to Nuits-Saint-Georges).

Tasting Notes

Côte de Nuits Village has a pleasing, fruity Nose typical of Pinot Noir with slightly smoky undertones. The Taste is well structured with supple, well-integrated tannins, which combine nicely with the redcurrant and raspberry flavours that are followed by a hint of liquorice.

Food Pairing

This Côte de Nuits-Villages can accompany meat cooked in sauce - especially red wine sauces - as well as game and mild to medium cheeses.
Serve between 16 and 17°C (60°F - 63°F)
