Beaune is the historical capital of Burgundy wines. It is also an often-neglected appellation that nonetheless boasts numerous terroirs that have very interesting characteristics.

Tasting Notes

Light first Nose, with a touch of smoke and vanilla, punctuated by aromas of red fruit (raspberry, cherry). Delectable on the Taste with well-defined structure and the same flavours perceived on the Nose along with notes of cherry and plum. The Finish is intense with notes of liquorice, violet and plum.

Food Pairing

Ideal wine for fine dishes such as red meat, mild game, and mild, delicate cheeses.
Serve between 14 and 16°C (57-60°F)
