Grand Vintage 2003, the 69th Vintage from the Maison, which was founded in 1743, is a wine of extraordinary character. 2003 was a special year; a spectacular spring frost and an unusually hot summer resulted in the earliest harvest on record. Grand Vintage 2003 is an assertive wine that distinguishes itself by its intense fruitiness with its notes of apricot, vanilla and liquorice, a spicy maturity and an alluring warmth, creating a wine of sumptuous opulence.
